Randall Park

This quaint park is located in the heart of our neighborhood. Expertly landscaped, and beautifully manicured, this park has a children's playground, several picnic tables and comfortable benches.

 
 
 
Carson Park

This 130.6-acre park is located on Half Moon Lake and has access from Lake Street or Menomonie Street. Facilities include a football and baseball stadium, 3 lighted tennis courts, 18 lighted horseshoe courts, 2 softball diamonds, and 3 museums. There are also four pavilions which can be reserved: Oak, Birch, Pine and Brauns's Bay. Braun's Bay pavilion features a barrier-free fishing pier and handicap accessible restrooms. Fishing and boating on Half Moon Lake is allowed; however, gasoline outboard motors are prohibited.

Paul Bunyan Logging Camp
This authentic replica of an 1890s logging camp features a cooking shanty, a visitor and interpretive center, a barn, bunkhouse, a blacksmith shop and statues of Paul Bunyan and Babe, the Blue Ox.

Chippewa Valley Museum
A research library, several permanent exhibits and a turn-of-the-century ice cream parlor are featured here. The Anderson Lob Cabin and the Sunnyview School are also located on the museum grounds.

Carson Park Stadium - the Hank Aaron Statue
Carson Park Stadium is where Hank Aaron began his career for the Eau Claire Bears in 1952. Today, it is home to the Eau Claire Cavaliers and the Eau Claire Bears. Together, these two amateur teams provide a full season of baseball fun!

Train Rides
The Chippewa Valley Railroad Association Depot is located in Carson Park next to the Soo Line Steam Locomotive. A one-quarter sized steam train gives one-half mile rides through Carson Park. Train rides are given every Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Memorial Day through labor Day, including the Fourth of July. Admission is just $1.00 for adults and 50 cents for children.

Eau Claire Ski Sprites Water Shows
The "Ski Sprites" present a water show every Wednesday and Sunday at 6:30 p.m. beginning in June and running through Labor Day weekend. All shows will be at Half Moon Beach, located off Randall Street. Special shows are performed during the Sawdust City Celebration, on the Fourth of July, and Labor Day.

Owen Park

This beautiful 11-acre park is located on the Chippewa River on First Avenue between Lake and Water Streets. It has a old fashioned bandshell, a children's playground, and 2 lighted tennis courts. During the summer months, the Parks and Recreation Department sponsors family movies and municipal band concerts in Owen Park.
 
Movies in the Park - Tuesdays, June 11 - August 6
FREE! Family movies are shown Tuesday evenings, beginning at dusk (approximately 9:00 pm), at the Donald "Sarge" Boyd Bandshell in Owen Park. In the event of inclement weather, movies will be shown at the Parks and Recreation Community Center, 1300 First Avenue.

Municipal Band - June 13 - August 8
Join Director Craig Lehmeier and the Eau Claire Municipal Band for music under the starts. Weekly concerts include marches, overtures, classical pieces, and contemporary pieces. The Fourth of July concert will be in Carson Park at the Baseball stadium prior to the Fireworks.

The Eau Claire Bike Trail

 
 
 
 
 

Winding through Owen Park and along the Chippewa River is the Eau Claire Bike Trail. This wide, paved path is excellent for bicycling, rollerblading, pushing a stroller or a leisurely walk. This path connects with over 20 miles of bicycle trails south of Eau Claire and interconnects our neighborhood giving us unparalelled bicycle access!
